Project HOPE - Responding to COVID-19 and Other Emergencies

At Project HOPE, we take a “no regrets” approach to responding in times of disaster: We get there fast, start working quickly and stay as long as we have the resources to meet the needs.

Project HOPE has been responding to COVID-19 since the virus first emerged in Wuhan, China. Since then, we have delivered more than 14 million pieces of personal protective equipment, provided training for 93,000 health workers and frontline personnel, and reached more than 150 countries worldwide, including the United States. And we’re continuing to expand our response.

With multiple COVID-19 vaccines now approved, international and national health agencies are preparing for vaccine distribution as supplies become available. With a global network of partners and a COVID-19 response that stretches around the world, Project HOPE is preparing to support country partners and agencies as they launch this next phase.  We will be training clinicians and frontline personnel on COVID-19 vaccines, guidelines, and administration, particularly in high-risk and hard-to-reach populations.

Though health systems are in the middle of the fight against COVID-19, there's another threat around the corner:  June 1 marks the start of hurricane season.

Project HOPE has a long history of responding to natural disasters and humanitarian crisis, including Hurrican Laura, Eta and Iota that all struck in 2020.   With your help, we continue to deploy first responders to provide lifesaving care to those who need it most.  Your miles will help us continue to deploy medical volunteers when emergencies happen.

Please donate your miles today and support Project HOPE's response to COVID-19 and other emergencies as they arise.
