Miles donated to CEN will support our Leaders Institute program, an eight-month intensive leadership development course for nonprofit executive directors/CEOs, running from October to May. Guided by IDEAL (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access, and Liberation) principles, the program recruits a diverse group of participants from various organizations. Leaders engage in monthly, full-day professional development sessions, sharing experiences and building a robust toolkit of techniques and resources. Leaders Institute is designed to safeguard the long-term sustainability of leaders and organizations, a crucial endeavor in today's climate.
Shifting to online sessions has made the program more accessible, allowing participants from across the United States. Twice a year, we gather in the Bay Area for our Leaders Institute Retreat and Graduation Ceremony. With support from United Airlines and our community, we aim to cover travel costs for all out-of-city/state participants, enabling them to network and build community with their cohort members.
Our mission is to improve the long-term sustainability of nonprofit leaders and their organizations by offering the highest quality programs, consultation, training, and community-building networks.
