Dreaming of Hawaii

Lindsey had always wished to visit the beautiful islands of Hawaii. Even after she received her cancer diagnosis, she held this dream close to her heart each and every day. She began her treatment journey and started the three-year long stretch of countless rounds of chemotherapy and even more surgeries. Following this long battle and emerging victorious, Make-A-Wish America helped make Lindsey’s dream of visiting Hawaii come true. Make-A-Wish America grants life-changing wishes for children who are battling critical illnesses. Over 70% of wishes involve some form of travel. Through United’s Miles on a Mission program and partnership with Make-A-Wish America, Lindsey was able to have her wish come true and finally take her dream trip to Hawaii with her family, signifying the beginning of a new beautiful and healthy life.
