When a crisis or disaster strikes, time is of the essence for response teams eager to lend a hand. Having access to airline miles gives humanitarian personnel from Airlink’s nonprofit network the flexibility to respond quickly, flying to impacted communities to provide life-saving and life-sustaining assistance. Airlink is a global humanitarian organization delivering critical aid to communities in crisis by providing free airlift and logistical solutions to vetted nonprofit partners, changing the way the humanitarian community responds to disasters around the world. United is proud to be the Global Signature Lead airline partner committed to Airlink’s global responses. Through this partnership, Airlink was able to provide transportation to support the International Ministry of Charity Emmanuel’s (IMOCE) recent trip to Kenya to provide medical treatment for over 1,500 people and food security for over 3,000. With this flight support, IMOCE successfully covered meals for over 500 children for their next quarter and procured a ground supplies shipment for immediate response. Miles donated to Airlink through Miles on a Mission helps deliver critical aid to communities in crisis.
