Travel experiences are an essential part of Girl Scouting. Whether packing a bag for their first camping trip or boarding a plane to another part of the world, Girl Scouts are encouraged to explore, make global connections, and cultivate skills they can use for the rest of their lives.
In 2023, over 59,000 Girl Scouts participated in domestic and international trips, with many troops fueling their travel adventures using money they earned through participating in the Girl Scout Cookie Program®. Girl Scouts of the USA will utilize donated miles to offset the cost of travel for middle school and high school Girl Scouts participating in educational experiences and leadership programs across the country. By donating miles, you can help fund life-changing experiences for Girl Scouts through travel.
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
