This month, United® is partnering with Special Olympics to support athletes travel to competitions, trainings, and leadership opportunities around the world. Donate miles or money through May 31, 2026, and we will match up to 1 million miles, doubling the impact

How your miles help
When you donate miles through United’s Miles on a Mission program, you’re helping Special Olympics athletes travel to competitions, trainings, and leadership opportunities around the world. That travel does more than get athletes from point A to point B—it creates life-changing moments of confidence, connection, and growth.

Inclusion in action
United’s partnership with Special Olympics goes beyond travel. Through the Special Olympics Service Ambassador program, athletes are employed in airports across the country—welcoming customers, helping with wayfinding, and supporting the travel experience.
These ambassadors are an important part of United’s frontline teams, bringing energy, connection, and a human touch to every interaction. The program creates meaningful employment opportunities while showing what true inclusion looks like in action.

Terms and Conditions:
United Airlines MileagePlus® Special Olympics Miles on a Mission matching miles terms and conditions:
1. You must be a MileagePlus® member before donating to participate. To join MileagePlus for free, go to united.com.
2. For a MileagePlus member’s miles donation to a charity to be matched by United, donation of miles must be made at https://donate.mileageplus.com/charity/profile/special-olympics and must be a minimum of 100 miles. Qualifying charities: Special Olympics
3.Donation must be made by 11:59pm CST on May 31, 2026 to qualify for the match.
4. United cannot provide tax advice regarding your donation or its tax deductibility. Please consult your personal tax advisor with questions about how this may affect your tax return.
5. United will match miles donations received by the specified charities during the promotional period up to an aggregate of 1,000,000 MileagePlus bonus award miles using the link https://donate.mileageplus.com/charity/profile/special-olympics
6.Members will not receive any MileagePlus bonus award miles in connection with any matching donation made by United.
7. Miles donations are non-refundable. All MileagePlus Program Terms and Conditions apply.
