Donate MileagePlus miles or money to support hurricane relief
Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton have caused widespread destruction and displaced thousands. United and our customers have donated over $400,000 and 11 million MileagePlus miles toward hurricane relief efforts, but you can make our impact even greater. We will match additional donations up to $100,000 and 1 million miles.
Your donation will directly support these organizations in providing food, medical care, and rescue services to those affected.
Airlink
Airlink is a rapid-response disaster relief organization that helps 200+ nonprofit partners save lives, deliver supplies, and rebuild communities in crisis thanks to the power of aviation.
Good360
Good 360 gets donated products to nonprofits working in disasters. Funding support fades fast but Good360 ensures long-term recovery support for communities.
World Central Kitchen
World Central Kitchen (WCK) uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies in times of crisis.

Hurricane Milton Support – October 2024 Terms and Conditions
United Airlines MileagePlus® Hurricane Milton Support matching cash gift terms and conditions:
1. Donation must be made between October 11, 2024 and 11:59pm CST on October 31, 2024.
2. Donations are non-refundable.
3. United cannot provide tax advice regarding your donation or its tax deductibility. Please consult your personal tax advisor with questions about how this may affect your tax return.
4. Donations will be matched by United up to an aggregate of $100,000 USD in matching donations – a maximum of $25,000 for each organization. Only donations made to the identified Hurricane Milton Support Nonprofit Partners using the links found on https://donate.mileageplus.com/hurricane-helene-milton-relief will be matched, offline donations do not qualify. Members will not receive any MileagePlus bonus award miles in connection with any matching donation made by United.

United Airlines MileagePlus® Hurricane Milton Support for Miles on a Mission matching gift terms and conditions:
1. You must be a MileagePlus® member before donating to participate. To join MileagePlus for free, go to united.com.
2. For a MileagePlus member’s miles donation to a charity to be matched by United, donation of miles must be made at https://donate.mileageplus.com/hurricane-helene-milton-relief and must be a minimum of 1,000 miles. Qualifying charities: American Red Cross, Airlink, Good360, and World Central Kitchen.
3. Donation must be made by 11:59pm CST on October 31, 2024, to qualify for the match.
4. United cannot provide tax advice regarding your donation or its tax deductibility. Please consult your personal tax advisor with questions about how this may affect your tax return.
5. United will match miles donations received by the specified charities during the promotional period up to an aggregate of 1,000,000 MileagePlus bonus award miles across all identified Hurricane Milton Support Nonprofit Partners using the links found on https://donate.mileageplus.com/hurricane-helene-milton-relief, and donations will be matched on a first-come, first-served basis to the nonprofits receiving donations.
6. Members will not receive any MileagePlus bonus award miles in connection with any matching donation made by United.
